This role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance across a diverse portfolio of pesticide and adjuvant agricultural products within a highly regulated environment. The Regulatory Specialist plays a key part in supporting product stewardship, maintaining accurate regulatory data, and enabling successful product registrations across domestic and international markets. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining critical documentation such as Safety Data Sheets, product labels, and registration dossiers. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help drive compliance, support product development initiatives, and ensure alignment with evolving regulatory standards. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and the ability to manage multiple regulatory workflows simultaneously. It is well-suited for someone who enjoys combining technical accuracy with collaborative problem-solving in a fast-paced agricultural and compliance-driven setting.
- Ensures full regulatory compliance for pesticide and adjuvant products by preparing accurate submissions, maintaining documentation, and supporting adherence to state, federal, and international requirements.
- Maintains and updates product labeling and Safety Data Sheets, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with regulatory standards and internal quality expectations.
- Supports product registration and lifecycle management activities, including state registrations, renewals, and coordination across multiple business units.
- Maintains regulatory data integrity, assisting with validation, tracking, and reporting to ensure accuracy across compliance systems and documentation.
- Collaborates with internal teams and external stakeholders to support regulatory initiatives, improve processes, and resolve compliance-related issues.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, or a related discipline, ideally within agriculture, chemicals, fertilizers, or similar regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of domestic fertilizer and/or pesticide regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent technical writing skills with experience preparing regulatory documents, labels, and compliance submissions.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and data management tools for tracking and interpreting regulatory information.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage stakeholders effectively.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within cross-functional teams.
