Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Microsoft Solutions Architect in United States.
This is a high-impact, remote-first technical leadership role operating at the intersection of Microsoft security technologies, product strategy, and ecosystem partnerships. You will serve as the primary technical authority for Microsoft Security and Microsoft 365 integrations, shaping how advanced security capabilities connect with broader detection, identity, and response workflows. The role sits at a strategic level, influencing both product direction and go-to-market execution across key alliances. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and security operations teams to define integration priorities and architectural standards. In addition, you will support joint customer engagements and co-sell opportunities with enterprise and partner stakeholders. This position requires someone who can translate complex Microsoft ecosystems into scalable, repeatable solutions. It is ideal for a deeply technical architect who thrives in cross-functional, fast-evolving cybersecurity environments.
- Define and own the technical architecture for Microsoft security integrations, including Microsoft 365, Defender, Entra ID, Azure, Purview, and related telemetry sources
- Partner with product and engineering teams to prioritize APIs, data streams, and integration depth based on value, feasibility, and security outcomes
- Lead technical engagement in strategic alliance and co-sell initiatives, including customer briefings, proof-of-concepts, and integration design sessions
- Develop and maintain a clear technical point of view on Microsoft licensing, packaging changes, and security ecosystem evolution
- Translate field, customer, and partner feedback into structured input for product roadmaps and security operations workflows
- Create scalable enablement assets such as demos, diagrams, training materials, and technical playbooks for internal and partner teams
- Ensure Microsoft telemetry and threat intelligence are effectively integrated into downstream detection and response workflows
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft security technologies including Microsoft Graph, Defender APIs, Sentinel, Log Analytics, Azure Event Hub, and Entra ID
- Deep understanding of security data pipelines, including tradeoffs in latency, cost, fidelity, rate limits, and operational impact
- Proven ability to operate as a technical bridge between engineering, product, and external partners in complex environments
- Strong knowledge of security operations, incident response workflows, and how telemetry supports investigation and remediation
- Ability to translate technical architectures into clear, compelling enablement materials for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to executives, engineers, and partner technical teams
- Comfortable working in ambiguity, shaping new programs, and iterating based on evolving alliance and product needs
- Prior exposure to Microsoft ecosystems or large Microsoft-aligned partner environments strongly preferred
- Fully remote work environment with long-standing distributed team culture
- Competitive compensation package with $235,000–$245,000 OTE (80/20 split) plus equity
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage
- 401(k) plan with employer contribution regardless of employee participation
- Generous paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays
- 12 weeks of paid parental leave
- Stock options available to all full-time employees
- Home office setup reimbursement and monthly digital allowance
- Annual budget for education, training, and professional development
- Life and disability insurance coverage
- Access to coaching and personal development platforms.
