Toyota of Olympia is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Lot Manager to oversee the daily operation, appearance, and organization of one of the largest vehicle inventories in the South Sound. This leadership position is responsible for managing vehicle flow, supervising lot personnel, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring every vehicle is customer-ready.

What You'll DoLead the Lot Operations Team- Supervise, train, coach, and develop Lot Attendants and Porters.
- Create daily work assignments and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Hold team members accountable to dealership standards, attendance expectations, and safety requirements.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on customer service and accountability.
- Oversee the organization and presentation of all new and used vehicle inventory.
- Coordinate vehicle movement between Sales, Service, Detail, Body Shop, and customer delivery areas.
- Ensure vehicles are staged appropriately for merchandising, customer appointments, and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate vehicle location records and assist with inventory audits.
- Ensure all inventory is clean, fueled, tagged, priced, and customer-ready.
- Conduct daily lot walks and inspections to maintain presentation standards.
- Monitor lot appearance, signage, display areas, and vehicle placement.
- Ensure showroom exteriors, service drives, and display areas remain clean and organized.
- Verify vehicles meet Toyota of Olympia standards for cleanliness and presentation.
- Identify and coordinate resolution of cosmetic or mechanical concerns.
- Ensure sold vehicles are prepared and staged for on-time deliveries.
- Monitor battery maintenance, tire pressures, fuel levels, and general vehicle condition.
- Assist management with weekly and monthly inventory audits.
- Verify all vehicles are properly tagged and accounted for.
- Ensure compliance with dealership safety standards and operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate records regarding inventory movement and lot operations.
- Ensure vehicles are available and prepared for customer appointments and test drives.
- Support the Sales and Service teams in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Lead by example with professionalism, urgency, and attention to detail.
- Previous automotive dealership experience required.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience required.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Inventory is organized, accurately tracked, and customer-ready at all times.
- Vehicle locations are known and easily accessible.
- Customer appointments and deliveries run smoothly.
- Lot attendants are productive, accountable, and properly trained.
- The dealership consistently presents a clean, professional appearance.
- Internal departments view the Lot Team as responsive, reliable, and solution-oriented.
