Creative Operations Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Creative Operations Manager in the United States.

This role sits at the operational core of a fast-paced, high-volume marketing organization, ensuring that creative work moves seamlessly from request to delivery. You will act as the central hub for intake, trafficking, scheduling, and tracking of marketing and production deliverables across multiple concurrent campaigns. The position requires strong discipline in project management combined with hands-on experience in creative operations environments where speed, accuracy, and visibility are critical. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, external vendors, and internal stakeholders to keep workflows efficient and aligned. Acting as the “air traffic control” of creative production, you will ensure priorities are clear, timelines are realistic, and risks are surfaced early. This is a highly structured yet dynamic role suited for someone who thrives in operational complexity. You will play a key role in enabling creative teams to deliver consistent, high-quality output at scale.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of creative intake, workflow coordination, and production tracking to ensure seamless delivery across marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for maintaining operational clarity, system integrity, and cross-team alignment.

  • Manage intake, routing, and tracking of all creative and marketing production requests across campaigns and ad hoc needs
  • Assign priorities, deadlines, and ownership while ensuring proper resourcing and coordination with internal teams and external vendors
  • Monitor active workstreams, track milestones, dependencies, and schedules, and proactively flag risks or delays
  • Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and ensure leadership has clear reporting on status, blockers, and progress
  • Support production meetings and status reporting with clear, concise updates on deliverables and timelines
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of workflow systems, including data accuracy, structure, and reporting reliability
  • Manage digital asset organization, including file naming conventions, version control, and storage standards
  • Support onboarding of internal users, freelancers, and vendors into tools, systems, and operational processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure adherence to established workflows and continuous process improvement
  • Help refine and evolve creative operations systems to improve efficiency, transparency, and scalability
Requirements:

The ideal candidate has deep experience in creative operations, production trafficking, or project coordination within fast-paced marketing or agency environments. You are highly organized, systems-oriented, and confident managing multiple concurrent workflows.

  • 7–9 years of experience in creative operations, project coordination, traffic management, or production support roles
  • Strong background managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with dependencies, milestones, and evolving priorities
  • Hands-on experience with workflow tools such as Airtable, including building and maintaining dashboards, views, and structured data systems
  • Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) systems and best practices around metadata, taxonomy, versioning, and organization
  • Exposure to creative production workflows including design, content, and/or video production processes
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain system accuracy under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across creatives, marketers, producers, and vendors
  • Ability to translate ambiguity into structured, trackable workflows and operational systems
  • Experience supporting process documentation, onboarding, and workflow training
  • Preference for candidates based in Los Angeles or familiar with high-tempo agency environments
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of $100,000–$115,000 with potential annual incentive compensation
  • Remote-first work environment within the United States
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependents
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching
  • Generous paid time off including vacation, holidays, sick days, and floating holidays
  • Paid parental leave for new parents
  • Employee assistance program for personal and professional support
  • Home office, internet, wellness, and learning & development stipends
  • Quarterly in-person all-hands meetings in Los Angeles for collaboration and alignment
  • Structured focus time and meeting-free periods to support deep work and productivity
