This role sits at the intersection of advanced SAP engineering and next-generation intelligent automation, where you will design and deliver scalable technical solutions that power critical enterprise operations. You will work across complex SAP landscapes to translate business requirements into robust, high-performance ABAP developments aligned with modern architecture and integration standards. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end SAP ABAP solution delivery, ensuring high-quality development, integration, and optimization across enterprise SAP systems while supporting AI-driven transformation initiatives.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP technical designs and ABAP solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and support ABAP-based RICEFW objects including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
- Support SAP integrations with external systems using APIs, web services, OData services, and enterprise integration tools.
- Perform debugging, performance tuning, code optimization, and impact analysis across SAP applications.
- Contribute to AI-enabled SAP initiatives, including automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent process enhancements.
- Maintain high-quality technical documentation, including design specifications, testing artifacts, and support guides.
- Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with technical standards and governance.
- Support testing cycles including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
- Lead small technical initiatives and provide guidance to junior developers where required.
This role requires strong hands-on SAP ABAP expertise, deep technical understanding of SAP ecosystems, and the ability to work in complex, enterprise-scale environments.
- 7+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience in enterprise SAP environments.
- Strong expertise in ABAP development including function modules, BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, CDS views, Smart Forms, and data dictionary objects.
- Proven experience delivering RICEFW developments across full SAP project lifecycles.
- Strong experience in SAP integration using OData services, web services, and third-party system connectivity.
- Experience in performance tuning, debugging, and ABAP code optimization.
- Solid understanding of SAP development standards, secure coding practices, and SDLC processes.
- Exposure to AI-enabled SAP capabilities or intelligent automation is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
