Position Overview:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a pivotal role in steering the financial direction and health of the organization. This executive position is responsible for developing and executing strategic financial plans that align with the company’s long-term goals, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability. The CFO oversees all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and financial reporting, to provide accurate and timely insights to the board and stakeholders. By fostering strong financial governance and compliance with audit regulations, the CFO safeguards the organization's assets and reputation. Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive financial strategies that support the company’s objectives and growth plans.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to ensure accurate and actionable financial insights.
  • Manage financial risks by identifying potential threats and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements, maintaining robust financial governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to measure organizational performance and develop strategic profit models that optimize cost management and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with advanced financial modeling software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Track record of driving organizational transformation through strategic cost management initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, including executive-level responsibilities.
  • Proven expertise in strategic financial planning, risk management, and financial governance.

Other Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of audit regulations and compliance standards applicable within the United States.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at the executive level.
