Patient Care Assistant in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin at Froedtert South, Inc.

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Patient Care Assistant assigned to the Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Department assists in the care of patients being treated for wounds in the outpatient Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Department as well as in the inpatient hospital setting. The activities of this position include, but are not limited to, those that promote comfort and safety, activities involving the collection of patient data including vital signs, assisting members of the Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine team including physicians, advanced practice providers, registered nurses, hyperbaric medicine technicians and licensed practical nurses in providing care to patients, and other tasks to support the services of the Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine service.
