Network Administrator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Network Administrator based in the United States.

This role sits at the core of enterprise network operations, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of critical IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for administering, configuring, and maintaining network systems that support day-to-day organizational operations. The position combines hands-on technical troubleshooting with proactive monitoring and optimization of network performance. You will collaborate closely with IT support teams and leadership to resolve issues, implement improvements, and maintain reliable connectivity across systems. A key part of the role involves identifying risks, upgrading outdated infrastructure, and ensuring systems remain aligned with operational standards. The environment is structured and mission-focused, requiring both autonomy and strong coordination across technical teams. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful infrastructure in a stable, service-oriented setting.

Accountabilities:
  • Install, configure, administer, and maintain enterprise network systems and related infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to ensure optimal system reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, collaborating with IT support teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain, upgrade, and replace hardware and software components to keep systems current and secure.
  • Support system assembly, deployment, and configuration of new network environments.
  • Provide technical documentation and weekly status reports on network activities, issues, and improvements.
  • Participate in training initiatives and provide after-hours remote support when required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of network administration or enterprise networking experience.
  • CompTIA Network+ certification may substitute for up to 2 years of experience; Cisco CCNA may substitute for up to 3 years.
  • Strong knowledge of networking principles, infrastructure management, and system performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft environments, including Windows Server 2022, Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Exchange/Outlook, Active Directory, SCCM, SCOM, and ServiceNow.
  • Basic understanding of SAP user management is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in complex network environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
