Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Deal Commercial Strategy & Operations Lead based in Switzerland.
In this role, you will act as a senior operational anchor within the Deal Desk and Revenue Operations ecosystem, shaping how complex deals are structured, approved, and executed across a global SaaS organization. You will operate at the intersection of Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product, ensuring commercial agreements are both scalable and compliant while enabling fast, high-quality deal execution. This position combines strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership, giving you direct influence over pricing, deal architecture, and quote-to-cash processes. You will serve as a key escalation point for high-impact commercial decisions while driving process improvements and automation initiatives that reduce friction across the sales lifecycle. Working in a fully remote, globally distributed environment, you will collaborate across time zones to optimize revenue operations and enable sustainable growth. - Oversee end-to-end deal approval workflows, ensuring pricing accuracy, compliance with internal policies, and alignment with revenue objectives.
- Support and guide Sales teams in structuring deals, handling non-standard pricing requests, and navigating contract exceptions.
- Collaborate closely with Legal and Finance to align on commercial policies, contract structures, and revenue recognition considerations.
- Represent Deal Desk priorities in cross-functional discussions with Sales leadership and other senior stakeholders.
- Identify deal friction points, recurring bottlenecks, and operational risks, proactively proposing scalable solutions.
- Develop and maintain deal playbooks, pricing guidelines, and sales enablement materials to improve deal efficiency and consistency.
- Build and optimize automated workflows and tools to reduce manual work and improve operational scalability.
- Track and analyze deal performance metrics, translating insights into actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely deal execution.
- Drive continuous improvement across deal operations, including tooling, processes, governance, and policy frameworks.
- Act as a key contributor to the broader Revenue Operations strategy and support execution of cross-functional initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or similar roles within an Enterprise SaaS or B2B environment.
- Proven experience managing complex deal structures, pricing negotiations, and contract exceptions in high-volume environments.
- Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash processes, revenue recognition principles, and deal lifecycle management.
- Hands-on expertise with Salesforce (SFDC) and CPQ systems, including workflow optimization and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret deal trends, performance data, and operational metrics into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior Sales, Legal, and Finance leaders.
- Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, global, remote-first environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively under pressure and manage multiple concurrent deal streams.
- Demonstrated ability to build scalable processes, improve operational efficiency, and introduce automation into workflows.
- Strong understanding of automation tools and AI-driven operational improvements is highly valued.
- Self-starter mindset with a strong bias for action and ownership.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Competitive annual salary aligned with global market benchmarks.
- Fully remote work with flexible scheduling and asynchronous collaboration.
- Work-from-anywhere flexibility across supported regions.
- Stock options as part of a long-term incentive plan.
- Flexible paid time off and generous parental leave policies.
- Learning and development budget to support continuous growth.
- Home office setup budget and IT equipment provided.
- Mental health and wellbeing support services.
- Budget for coworking spaces and local team gatherings.
- Opportunity to work in a globally distributed, high-impact Revenue Operations organization.
