JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:
- Manage projects and drive sustainable value creation for global hydraulics and cab components.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams, suppliers, and procurement to identify and deliver product value opportunities.
- Maintain value creation dashboards, analyze large datasets, and identify business improvement opportunities.
- Prepare technical reports and present results to leadership teams.
- Lead new product introduction (NPI) projects for supplier-designed purchased components.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful product development and implementation.
- Apply knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and machine architecture to support engineering decisions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in and lead virtual meetings with engineering teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Create, update, and track project management plans and deliverables.
- Conduct product cost analysis, design reviews, and engineering evaluations.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Analyze large datasets, identify trends, and summarize business impacts.
- Evaluate hydraulic component designs, materials, specifications, and application requirements.
- Coordinate technical and commercial information for project reviews and stakeholder presentations.
- Manage schedules, risks, deliverables, and technical information throughout product development.
- Collaborate independently and within teams to ensure successful project execution and on-time delivery.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Engineering,.
- 5+ years industry experience for Bachelors
- 3+ years industry experience for Masters
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Advanced proficiency in project management, collaboration tools, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams).
- Strong ability to analyze large datasets, identify key trends, and present actionable insights.
- Experience in preparing stakeholder reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Basic understanding of the end-to-end product development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of requirements gathering, functional specifications, product development, testing, and validation processes.
- Understanding of system interactions, business value creation, and value stream engineering.
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Experience with Creo (CAD) modeling tools and 3D design applications.
- Ability to read, interpret, and review engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical reports.
- Strong understanding of technical documentation and design analysis.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic components, systems, and their applications.
- Ability to support component design, evaluation, and problem-solving in hydraulic systems.
