Testing Coordinator

Service Contract Act (SCA) Position

Hourly Rate: $21.17

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Testing Coordinator administers the test of adult basic education (TABE) to students to determine their initial, interim, and final reading and math performance achievement levels and learning gains.
  • The Testing Coordinator determines the results of TABE test as satisfactory or unsatisfactory based on Center and DOL procedures and criteria.
  • Compiles and distributes a list of each students test results to appropriate department heads.
  • Maintains all required records and test results on students.
  • Submits weekly activity reports to the Education and Training Director.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelors degree preferred.
  • One year of work-related experience preferred.
  • Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record preferred.
  • Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.

Additional Requirements:Knowledge of test administration and evaluation with some instructional techniques. Ability to communicate effectively and relate to the trainee population. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Position requires an ability to operate office equipment. In addition, an individual must be able to interact with team members and maintain an effective working relationship with all facility staff and departments.
