Patient Care Assistant – Intensive Care Unit

As a Patient Care Assistant in the Intensive Care Unit, you'll provide essential bedside support to critically ill patients while working closely with registered nurses and the interdisciplinary care team.

What You'll Do

• Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Obtain and document vital signs.
• Assist with patient repositioning, transfers, and mobility.
• Maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity.
• Assist nurses with assigned patient-care activities.
• Observe patients and promptly communicate changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized patient environment.
• Assist with supplies and equipment.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous patient-care or healthcare experience preferred.
• CNA certification preferred/required according to position requirements.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within the required timeframe.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Compassionate and dependable approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity environment.

Pay & Benefits

$17.50 - $27.75 | Differentials for PMs, Nights & Weekend

Pay is based on experience.
