- Lead, mentor, and support a team of data engineers, fostering technical excellence and ensuring successful project delivery.
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Google Cloud Platform services.
- Build and maintain cloud-based data lakes and data warehouses with BigQuery to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Develop both batch and real-time data processing solutions using modern cloud-native technologies.
- Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, analysts, and development teams to translate business requirements into effective data solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, promote engineering best practices, and maintain high standards for code quality and performance.
- Support CI/CD implementation, DevOps initiatives, and infrastructure automation practices.
- Contribute to technical planning, solution architecture, project estimation, and risk management activities.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
- 7–8 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or large-scale software development.
- Strong expertise with Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Dataflow, Cloud Storage (GCS), Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub.
- Solid SQL skills and extensive experience designing and optimizing data warehouses and data models.
- Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks, workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, and cloud-native data processing solutions.
- Familiarity with Looker or similar BI and reporting tools.
- Working knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and DevOps best practices.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and manage project timelines and technical risks.
