This role provides personalized support to students and families navigating financial aid, payments, and student account matters.
You will serve as a trusted point of contact, helping resolve financial questions while identifying practical payment and funding options.
The position combines customer service, problem-solving, administrative accuracy, and proactive communication.
You will manage inbound and outbound interactions across phone, email, and other student support channels.
Success in this role requires empathy, organization, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
You will work within an integrated student services environment where your support directly contributes to a positive student experience.

- Provide responsive, professional, and student-focused support related to financial aid, student accounts, payment arrangements, and related financial questions.
- Troubleshoot account issues involving payments, financial aid, balances, and payment arrangements, identifying appropriate solutions and next steps.
- Work proactively with new and current students and their families to ensure appropriate payment and financial aid arrangements are in place.
- Respond to inbound phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries while initiating outbound communications regarding financial aid and student account matters.
- Explain applicable policies, procedures, processes, and available payment options clearly and accurately.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and internal and external stakeholders through consistent, high-quality service.
- Handle confidential student and financial information with professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
- Manage multiple requests and a wide range of constituent issues while maintaining accuracy and timely follow-up.
- Support broader departmental and organizational objectives and perform additional duties as needed.
- Previous experience in customer service, student services, financial services, administrative support, or a related environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated desire and ability to build strong relationships and deliver excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate issues, identify solutions, and communicate next steps clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, competing priorities, and a diverse range of customer or constituent concerns.
- Comfortable working in a computer-based environment and using digital systems to manage information and communications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain policies and financial information in an accessible manner.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential student, financial, and personal information.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and time-management skills.
- A college degree is preferred.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across an integrated student services environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, with all work performed within the United States.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, speaking, and computer-based work, with occasional lifting or moving of items up to 25 pounds.
- Hourly compensation ranging from $17.00 to $18.25, depending on relevant experience, qualifications, and organizational pay considerations.
