Strategic Insurance Producer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Strategic Insurance Producer based in the United States.

This remote leadership role is focused on driving insurance sales performance, premium growth, and product adoption within a commercial lending environment.
You will take ownership of insurance production while connecting commercial financing with risk mitigation solutions.
The role combines direct sales execution, business development, strategic program growth, and insurance expertise.
You will work closely with branch teams, executive leaders, legal and compliance stakeholders, and external insurance partners.
Your insights will help shape product roadmaps, improve embedded insurance experiences, and strengthen portfolio risk management.
The position offers significant autonomy and an entrepreneurial environment where measurable commercial impact is highly valued.
Success will be measured through premium growth, market penetration, revenue generation, and sustained insurance coverage across financed dealer assets.

Accountabilities
  • Drive insurance production: Own insurance sales performance across the branch network, actively increasing product penetration, closing opportunities, and maximizing premium growth.
  • Execute market strategies: Partner with branch teams and sales leadership to implement insurance distribution strategies, communicate value propositions, and remove barriers to adoption.
  • Enable sales teams: Train and support field teams on insurance solutions, risk mitigation benefits, customer positioning, and effective sales practices.
  • Accelerate product adoption: Drive the rollout and adoption of insurance features embedded within digital floorplan checkout and financing workflows.
  • Shape product strategy: Provide field-level insights that inform insurance product roadmaps, growth strategies, and market opportunities.
  • Manage insurance partnerships: Collaborate with carriers, underwriters, fronting partners, managing general agents, reinsurers, and actuarial partners.
  • Optimize financial performance: Monitor premium volume, non-interest revenue, program penetration, claims efficiency, and portfolio loss-ratio performance.
  • Strengthen risk management: Help mitigate credit exposure by supporting continuous, high-quality insurance coverage across financed dealer assets.
  • Maintain compliance: Ensure sales execution, marketing materials, product delivery, and customer interactions comply with applicable multi-state insurance regulations and internal standards.
  • Improve customer and operational workflows: Establish consistent frameworks for product delivery, claims routing, retention, and embedded insurance experiences.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in commercial insurance production, insurance program management, bank-embedded insurance, or a comparable insurance leadership environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) producer license, or the ability to obtain one within an agreed-upon timeframe.
  • Demonstrated success scaling commercial insurance programs within banking, lending, automotive finance, or another complex financial services environment.
  • Deep knowledge of commercial P&C insurance, collateral protection insurance (CPI), dealer open-lot structures, and commercial risk management.
  • Strong understanding of commercial lending, automotive floorplan financing, banking frameworks, insurance underwriting principles, policy structures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience managing relationships with insurance carriers, fronting partners, reinsurers, MGAs, and program administrators.
  • Strong financial and analytical capabilities, including premium modeling, revenue optimization, penetration analysis, claims performance, and loss-ratio assessment.
  • Familiarity with insurance agency management systems, risk management platforms, loan origination systems, and digital embedded-insurance workflows.
  • Strong data fluency and ability to translate performance metrics into actionable commercial strategies.
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, influencing, and executive presentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build, scale, and manage programs in a complex, cross-functional environment.
  • Collaborative approach and demonstrated ability to work effectively across sales, finance, credit, legal, compliance, technology, and external partner teams.
  • Preferred: Advanced insurance designations such as CPCU, CIC, or CRM.
  • Preferred: Experience with digital marketplaces, wholesale automotive ecosystems, or floorplan management platforms.
Benefits
  • Annual salary: $90,000–$100,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
  • Fully remote work environment, with a preference for candidates located near the organization's Carmel, Indiana headquarters.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, including employer HSA contributions and FSA options for eligible U.S. employees.
  • Immediately vested 401(k) with company matching for U.S. employees.
  • Paid vacation, personal, and sick time.
  • Paid maternity and paternity leave for eligible U.S. employees.
  • Employer-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, and AD&D coverage for eligible U.S. employees.
  • Robust Employee Assistance Program.

  • Opportunities to broaden your expertise and share knowledge across a global, publicly traded organization.
  • Internal mobility, diverse career paths, and meaningful opportunities for professional advancement.
