It is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SOC leader ready to expand their management impact within a large, complex enterprise environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead day-to-day performance management across the US SOC, partnering with analysts, shift leads, and incident handlers across all operational shifts.
  • Own the SOC operational metrics program, defining and interpreting KPIs and service outcomes including MTTD, MTTR, alert quality, false-positive rates, detection coverage, and SLA adherence.
  • Analyze operational data to guide resource allocation, workflow improvements, threat mitigation, and other decisions that improve SOC effectiveness.
  • Identify operational gaps and lead improvement initiatives from initial assessment through implementation and measurable results.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop analysts and incident handlers, supporting career progression from L1 through L3 and building a high-performance, sustainable team culture.
  • Establish and maintain operating rhythms covering shift handoffs, quality reviews, performance reporting, accountability, and adherence to established procedures.
  • Drive process improvement, tooling optimization, and automation initiatives, including opportunities involving SIEM and SOAR technologies.
  • Support global security operations by promoting consistency, continuity, and effective collaboration across teams in the US and international locations.
  • Translate complex operational performance data into clear dashboards, reports, and recommendations for technical teams and senior executives.
  • Partner with leadership to continuously improve monitoring, triage, incident response, detection coverage, and overall security operations maturity.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or a related cybersecurity discipline, including hands-on experience within a SOC environment.
  • 4+ years of people management experience, including leadership of security analysts and coordination with geographically distributed teams.
  • Demonstrated experience leading SOC operations and managing the day-to-day performance of a security operations function.
  • Strong expertise developing, maintaining, and interpreting operational KPIs, SLAs, dashboards, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to identify operational challenges and lead improvement initiatives through implementation and measurable business outcomes.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of network and endpoint security, common attacker techniques, threat detection, and security incident response.
  • Strong familiarity with SIEM/SOAR technologies, security monitoring, automation, and detection-and-response processes.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating 24x7 operational environments, including shift coverage, handoffs, quality management, and team cohesion.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach individual contributors, build career pathways, and develop future security operations leaders.
  • Strong executive presence, communication, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Ability to balance tactical operational needs with longer-term strategic priorities in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCIH, GCIA, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Successful candidates must be able to complete a background investigation.
Benefits:
  • Annual compensation range of $151,700–$210,000, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive technology setup for eligible remote employees, including a laptop, monitors, headset, keyboard, and mouse.
  • Monthly connectivity reimbursement for eligible work-from-home employees.
  • Remote work opportunity with a dedicated, private workspace and reliable internet connection required.
  • Opportunity to work in a large-scale, global cybersecurity organization with exposure to complex 24x7 security operations.
  • Career development opportunities focused on technical leadership, people management, and operational excellence.
  • A collaborative environment emphasizing innovation, continuous improvement, inclusion, and meaningful customer impact.
  • Comprehensive employee programs and benefits designed to support professional and personal well-being.
