Experienced Foreclosure Paralegal - - Question: do you have New York foreclosure experience or mortgage servicing experience?

The Experience We're Looking For
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- New York foreclosure procedures and processes
- Mortgage servicing or default servicing
- Contested foreclosure matters
- Foreclosure litigation support
- Loss mitigation
- Client and servicer communication
- Client systems such as BKFS, Vendorscape, Tempo, or similar platforms
- Managing high volume foreclosure or default servicing files
- Working with courts, attorneys, clients, vendors, and opposing counsel
- Candidates must have New York foreclosure experience or relevant mortgage servicer experience.
What You'll Do
Depending upon your experience and background, you may:
- Manage foreclosure files through various stages of the New York foreclosure process
- Assist with contested and litigated foreclosure matters
- Work with attorneys on pleadings, motions, discovery, and case preparation
- Review and manage loss mitigation activity and related documentation
- Communicate with mortgage servicer clients and other parties regarding file status and next steps
- Work within client systems and firm technology platforms
- Monitor deadlines, court requirements, and client expectations
- Help identify and resolve issues that could impact the progression of a file
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, operations teams, and other professionals across the firm

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation: $22 to $30 per hour, commensurate with experience and role.
