This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping the youngest learners build coordination, confidence, and self-expression through dance in a fun, inclusive environment.

As a member of our Education team, you'll design and lead engaging dance experiences for children ages 12 months through 5 years across all six classrooms, introducing them to a variety of dance styles, movement concepts, music, instruments, props, and cultural traditions.

What You'll Do

  • Incorporate props, instruments, music, and movement materials into lessons.
  • Create inclusive lessons that allow all children to participate at their own developmental level.
  • Support gross motor skills, coordination, rhythm, creativity, confidence, and self-expression.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to connect dance experiences to classroom projects and children's interests.
  • Prepare and lead monthly Mini Showcases highlighting different dance forms, seasonal themes, holidays, and cultural celebrations.
  • Prepare music, props, instruments, and materials for showcases.
  • Reflect on children's engagement and use observations to inform future lesson planning.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Dance or a related field preferred.
  • Passionate about working with young children.
  • Creative, energetic, patient, and adaptable.
  • Comfortable working with children of varying abilities and developmental levels.
