Job Overview:
We are looking for a Sales Support Coordinator to join one of our clients in the health insurance industry. This position will provide administrative and operational support to the sales team and independent agents through document processing, data entry, reporting, inventory management, and sales support activities. If you have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience supporting sales or office operations, this opportunity may be for you.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and operational support to independent agents and agencies by assisting with documentation, information requests, reports, and sales-related inquiries.
- Receive, review, process, and track membership applications, Scope of Appointment (SOA) forms, PEQATs, and other sales-related documents within established timeframes.
- Enter and process sales information in the appropriate systems and notify agents or agencies of incomplete, pending, or incorrect documentation.
- Validate agent eligibility and sales documentation requirements across applicable platforms and systems, identifying and escalating discrepancies or missing information as needed.
- Digitize, index, and upload sales documents and paper membership applications into the designated document management system while maintaining accurate records.
- Validate sales reports, identify discrepancies, coordinate with the appropriate departments, process agent payment claims, and provide daily sales tallies within established deadlines.
- Maintain organized records of sales documentation and coordinate the transfer of completed documents to the appropriate department for storage.
- Support inventory management by preparing sales kits and coordinating requisitions and distribution of promotional materials, sales materials, uniforms, and other supplies for independent agents.
Job Requirements:
- Associate Degree or completion of at least 60–64 approved college credits.
- At least one (1) year of experience in coordination, office administration, sales support, or related functions; experience in the health insurance industry is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and the ability to work with multiple systems and platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet established deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to identify discrepancies, follow established procedures, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Intermediate proficiency in Spanish and English, including reading comprehension, writing, and verbal communication.
- Must be willing and able to provide support to independent agents and agencies as needed.
Required Availability:
- Monday through Friday.
- Full-time schedule based on operational needs.
- Availability to work on-site and provide in-person support to independent agents as required.
Compensation:
- $12.50 per hour
