About the Position

Pepsi MidAmerica is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to help keep our equipment and facilities operating safely and efficiently.

This position is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and facility systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and able to identify and resolve maintenance issues before they result in unnecessary downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility systems for maintenance or repair needs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, including lubrication, adjustments, repairs, and replacement of worn components.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete repairs in a timely manner.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, parts used, and completed work.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with management and other departments to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of maintenance supplies and replacement parts.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and applicable workplace safety regulations.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous maintenance experience involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or related systems.
  • Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
  • Experience using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Familiarity with OSHA and workplace safety requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize maintenance needs.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Pay

$20.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience
