Roofing Technician

What you will do

Perform commercial roof repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance.
Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, metal roofing, flashing, sealants, and associated components.
Assist with roof inspections and identify maintenance or repair needs.
Safely operate roofing tools, equipment, lifts, and fall protection systems.
Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment at project sites.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow OSHA regulations and Daniels safety procedures at all times.
Work closely with the Roofing Foreman / Superintendent to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Support additional facility improvement and construction projects as needed.
Travel extensively throughout the United States to support Daniels facilities.

What we are looking for

2+ years of commercial roofing experience preferred.
Experience with commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and metal roofing.
Knowledge of commercial roofing safety practices and OSHA requirements.
Ability to safely work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
Strong work ethic with a willingness to travel extensively.
Ability to lift and carry roofing materials and equipment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

The pay range for this position is $21.13 to $26.39 per hour. Actual compensation within this range will depend on factors unique to each candidate, such as prior experience, skill, certifications, and work location. Pay variations by location reflect local conditions and differences in the cost of labor.
