Job Description

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor

Position Overview
As our Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in preserving the beauty and functionality of our amazing property. Your expertise will ensure that our residents enjoy a comfortable and enjoyable lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the physical property is visually impeccable and functionally sound
  • Maintain general knowledge and troubleshooting skills across:
    • HVAC
    • Electrical
    • Plumbing
    • Appliance repair
    • Customer service
  • Required to lift or handle 80-100lbs on a regular basis
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • EPA Section 608 Type l Certification Preferred
  • Communicate daily with Maintenance Supervisor status of work orders, make readies, property projects, etc.
  • Complete work orders as assigned
  • Ensure all issues are reported and documented in Rent manager
  • Perform and complete make readies
  • Responsible for making sure preventative maintenance deadlines are met as outlined by Regional Maintenance Supervisor and directed by Maintenance Supervisor
  • Conduct inventory check as required
  • Perform transportation inspections as required
  • Be on call as scheduled by Property Manager
  • Be an active participant in maintenance team Group Text
  • Complete all training as required
  • Backup for Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Porter
  • Required Meetings: weekly property team meeting, quarterly onsite meeting, quarterly team building meeting, semi-annual training, State of Engage annual meeting

This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

  • EPA certification required
  • HVAC certification preferred
  • Driver's license preferred
  • English language proficiency preferred
  • Must be able to relocate to Little Rock, AR 72210 prior to start date (required)

  • Schedule: 8-hour shift; on-call rotation
