MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Cybersecurity Manager, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of GDIT GCIO - Digital Technology Office. You will play a crucial role in ensuring
• Lead/Manage/Support enterprise Vulnerability Management operations by guiding a vulnerability management team responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and driving remediation of security weaknesses across the enterprise

• Collaborate with cross-functional cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure vulnerabilities are analyzed, communicated, and remediated in alignment with enterprise hardening and compliance requirements

• Drive continuous improvement in vulnerability reduction, hardening efforts, and remediation workflows through data-driven insights, process optimization, and innovative approaches to reduce organizational risk

• Utilize vulnerability scanning platforms such as Qualys, Crowdstrike, Wiz or Security scorecard, risk scoring tools, remediation tracking systems, and enterprise security frameworks to enhance vulnerability visibility and hardening effectiveness.

• Experience: 5+ years of related experience
• Technical skills: Vulnerability scanning tools, enterprise remediation workflows, hardening frameworks (e.g., CIS, STIG), risk analysis, reporting, orchestration
• Role requirements: Hybrid, onsite job Herndon, VA or Falls Church, VA

The likely salary range for this position is $124,093 - $166,175. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
