About this Location:

This position is located at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. We are right in the middle of the action! Our hotel is perfectly situated next to the Las Vegas Convention Center and just three miles from Harry Reid International Airport. With the monorail just steps away and world-class entertainment, dining, and shopping minutes from our door, you’ll be working in the heart of all that Las Vegas has to offer.

Why do we need you?

To serve hotel guests during their stay by making it easier and more enjoyable to arrive, check-in, and stay at the property.

What will you do?

1. Meet and greet all guests in all forms of transportation arriving at the hotel.

2. Escorts incoming hotel guests to rooms.

3. Assists guests with luggage.

4. Inspects guest’s room to ensure that it is in order and that supplies are adequate.

5. Explains features of room such as operation of radio, television, telephone, and in-room movie system, etc.

6. Offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest and entertainment attractions.

7. Take the initiative to offer assistance or answer questions throughout the hotel.

8. Pages guests in lobby, dining rooms, or other parts of property.

9. Delivers messages and runs errands.

10. May pick up articles for laundry and valet service, and call taxi for guests.

11. May transport guests about property or local area in car or van.

12. May keep record of calls for service.

13. Professionalism and courtesy are to be always extended to guests, associates, and vendors.

14. May delivery packages, suitcases, and trunks, and may set up sample rooms.

15. Required to be always in uniform when working on the property including wearing a name identification badge.

16. Supports and adheres to core values, the mission statement, service fundamentals and guest service philosophy as defined by the company.

17. Walk guest floors once per shift to pick up trash and flyers stuck in doors etc.

18. Ensure gift shop Market area is fully stocked at all times.

19. Receive gift shop Market order and store in allocated store area.

20. Serve as parking lot attendants, ensure all vehicles have supplied sticker from front desk and assist with directing traffic during high occupancy periods.

Skills and Abilities you bring:

  • Carry out specific oral or written instructions, frequently following a simple routine.
  • Do the same task over and over, frequently in the same way.
  • Get along with all kinds of people.
  • Always maintain a professional appearance and manner.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions; lift, bend, stoop, walk, push, or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods of time. Lifting may include equipment or furniture weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Learn simple procedures and techniques.
  • Work in outdoor weather conditions.

This position is full time. Hours and days will vary depending on business needs.
