Job Description

Job Responsibilities

As a Tier I level Service Desk Specialist, you will be expected to install, configure and maintain various computer systems, printers, applications, and network equipment.

Additional responsibilities for this position include:

  • Provide technical support and problem resolution for end users
  • Keep current with development of new system features and technology
  • Works an office schedule and is expected to work outside of normal working hours to prevent network service interruption
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including manual labor, such as staging materials, packing, inventory and delivery

Job Requirements

To be successful in this type of position, we need team players who bring a positive attitude to the workplace and enjoy being around and working with others. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support / service desk environment supporting networked and remote computer systems in an international company or a subsidiary of an international company.

Additional requirements for this position include:

  • Network & wireless device configuration

Education Requirements

  • HS diploma or GED required
  • 2-year degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Equivalent technical training & experience in a technical support/service desk environment supporting networked & remote computer systems, Microsoft Windows Servers & Workstations & Microsoft Office Products can be substituted
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a technical support / service desk environment supporting networked & remote computer systems
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting Microsoft Windows Servers & Workstations
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting Lotus Notes & Microsoft Office Products
