Business Development Manager in Richardson, Texas at Accountex -IH

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships, and driving revenue growth. This individual will work closely with firm leadership to execute a structured business development strategy aligned with our service offerings, brand standards, and long‑term objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a targeted business development plan focused on small businesses and professional service organizations
• Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects through networking, referrals, events, and proactive outreach
• Conduct professional discovery meetings to assess client needs and present appropriate service solutions
• Prepare proposals, coordinate follow‑ups, and support a seamless transition from prospect to active client
• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with banks, attorneys, payroll providers, and other complementary service firms
• Represent the firm at industry events, chambers of commerce, and business associations
• Track KPIs, maintain CRM data integrity, and provide regular reporting to leadership
