Job Description
You'll be the voice of Saviynt's partner and developer community — ensuring their needs shape the product, their feedback drives decisions, and their experience on the platform is exceptional.
In this role, you'll partner with ISVs, technology partners, and external developers to bring new apps, integrations, and solutions to life on Saviynt Exchange. You'll review partner contributions, support community members, and serve as a trusted resource across the ecosystem.
Internally, you'll work hand-in-hand with Product & Engineering to sharpen Saviynt's developer tooling and resources, while collaborating with Technology Alliances and GTM teams to drive adoption of third-party apps and integrations among customers and SI partners.
As a champion of Saviynt's integration frameworks, connectors, and best practices, you'll also build the content developers rely on — from sample code and quick-start guides to tutorials and beyond.
Own the strategy to engage, support, and scale the developer ecosystem around Saviynt products — turning ISV/Technology partners, and independent developers into active builders on the platform.
- Unlock ISV/Technology partner integrations by identifying joint use cases and guiding partners to build integrations that address real customer needs on the Saviynt Identity Security platform.
- Pioneer AI-native product experiences — leverage AI agents and emerging agentic frameworks to reimagine how developers and partners interact with Saviynt's platform, define the product vision, requirements, and success metrics for embedding agentic capabilities across the developer ecosystem.
- Uncover high-impact opportunities through ongoing customer and developer discovery, surfacing integration gaps before they become friction points.
- Build a world-class Developer Portal and a rich library of resources — APIs, SDKs, documentation, and tooling — that make it easy for developers, partners, and community members to create apps and solutions.
- Meet developers where they are — engaging across forums, social media, events, webinars, and hackathons to build an active, thriving community.
- Be the developer's voice internally — partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Documentation teams to ensure developer feedback directly shapes the roadmap.
- Create content developers love — sample apps, quick-start guides, tutorials, and blogs that reduce time-to-build and accelerate adoption.
- Shape the integration foundation — gathering and translating community input into clear requirements for Saviynt's APIs, integration frameworks, and developer tools.
- Amplify through events — collaborating with Marketing and Community teams to deliver compelling developer-focused experiences, from online sessions to in-person meetups and hackathons.
- Represent Saviynt externally — showing up at industry conferences and community events to build relationships and establish Saviynt as a destination platform for developers.
You're a technologist at heart and a community builder by instinct — equally comfortable writing a Python script, reviewing a partner's API integration, and presenting at a developer conference.
- Educational foundation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Deep practitioner experience: 8+ years as a senior software developer or engineer, with hands-on experience engaging ISV/technology partners and advocating for developer communities.
- Platform & API fluency: Strong command of REST APIs, JSON, YAML, SDKs, MCP, LLMs, and modern web and mobile standards — plus a solid grasp of platform design principles and AI-powered capabilities.
- AI-forward PM mindset: Practical experience working with AI agents, agentic frameworks, and LLM-based tooling — and a clear point of view on how these technologies reshape developer and partner experiences.
- Coding chops: Hands-on proficiency in Java and/or Python, with comfort across code repositories and debugging tools.
- Partnership track record: Proven ability to build and sustain external partnerships across cybersecurity startups, cloud hyperscalers, AI platforms, and enterprise SaaS companies.
- Community presence: Active engagement with developer communities on GitHub, Stack Overflow, Postman, and similar platforms — you know how these ecosystems work because you've been part of them.
- Domain edge: Prior experience in Identity Security or Cybersecurity is a strong plus — familiarity with the landscape accelerates your impact from day one.
- Communication that lands: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with deeply technical audiences and translate complexity into clarity.
