POSITION SUMMARY

Performs proper specimen collection, by confirming patient ID, collecting specimens in proper tubes, utilizing skilled venipuncture/capillary techniques, and accurately labeling the specimens to ensure accurate patient results. Prepares specimens for transport to lab. Performs courier service safely and efficiently. Promotes excellent customer service by adhering to the EAMC values and standards of conduct. Professionally responds to client questions and concerns, while striving for a standard of excellent customer service.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education

●High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum Experience

●1 year of phlebotomy experience

Required Registration/License/Certification

●Current Phlebotomy Certification OR Medical assisting diploma
