Job Description
Woodinville Veterinary Hospital & Urgent Care Services, part of Cara Veterinary, is looking for a Floor Manager to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced veterinary receptionist, veterinary assistant, or Licensed Veterinary Technician who is ready to grow into leadership without stepping away from the work they love. You’ll be on the floor, side by side with the team, leading by doing and helping the hospital run at its best.
Our Woodinville team provides both general practice and urgent care services, creating an environment where no two days are exactly the same. You’ll have the opportunity to use your veterinary experience, develop your leadership skills, and make a direct impact on the Team Member, patient, and client experience.
About the RoleA Floor Manager is the leader who holds the floor. Reporting to the Hospital Administrator, you are their operational extension day to day and the person the team looks to when they need direction, support, or someone to set the pace.
You lead by example and in the moment. You know the work because you do the work, and you help the team do it well. This role is designed for a strong veterinary professional who wants to take the next step into leadership while remaining actively involved in patient and client care.
High-level responsibilities include:
- Preparing the support team schedule
- Leading and assisting with one-on-ones with Team Members
- Coaching in the moment and setting the tone on the floor
- Supporting inventory management and ordering supplies
- Assisting with quarterly inventory
- Supporting efficient patient flow and day-to-day hospital operations
- Working side by side with the team, modeling the standard you hold them to

Our Offer- Pay range of $26 to $37 per hour based on experience

A successful Floor Manager is skilled at their craft and ready to lead the people around them. Previous management experience is not required. What matters is that you are someone your peers trust and respect, you understand how a veterinary hospital operates, and you’re ready to grow into greater responsibility.
The Floor Manager who will succeed at Cara:

Experience as a veterinary receptionist, veterinary assistant, or LVT is the foundation. The willingness to step up and lead is what sets you apart.
