Closing: OPEN UNTIL FILLED
Summary:
Provide valet parking and front door guest services for patrons. Proactively approach, greet and acknowledge all guests in a friendly, professional manner and provide quick responsive guest service. Responsible for safe and effective transportation of guests to and from the designated locations.
Essential Functions:
• Greet and welcome casino valet guests in a courteous manner.
• Responsible for handling all guest vehicles with the utmost care and respect.
• Follows all departmental procedures regarding key control and valet ticket distribution.
• Ensures safety of vehicle prior to parking by quickly checking it for damage, dents, scratches, broken glass and documents such damage on vehicle ticket.
• Retrieves vehicles in a safe and timely manner, opens doors for guests and thanking them for coming to the casino.
• Reports accidents or injuries to management and/or security immediately.
• Reports unsafe conditions and anticipates hazards constantly.
• Effectively communicates with supervisor and reports any mechanical difficulties and/or maintenance needs of all vehicles.
• Responsible for safe and effective transportation of guests and casino property to and from the designated locations.
• Maintains thorough written reports of all trips, number of passengers, departure and arrival times, dispatcher’s name.
• Conducts routine safety inspections of all vehicles before and after every trip and report any problems to management.
• Follows all departmental procedures regarding key control and valet ticket distribution.
• Responsible for directing guests to the correct RV space.
• Resolves and documents RV guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintains constant communication of arrivals to ensure no overbookings.
• Responsible for the cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the RV park.
• Maintains confidentiality.
• Provides a high standard of professionalism and guest service.
• Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Minimum Qualifications):
• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Washington State Driver’s License.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a non-gaming permit.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must have excellent guest service relation skills.
• Ability to work various shifts including evenings, holidays, weekends, and overtime.
• Ability to understand, speak, communicate and read the English language.
• Ability to drive and operate a vehicle.
• Must be able to drive an automatic and manual transmission.
• Must have a good driving record and must be insurable.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or positon.
• Ability to communicate professionally in written, verbal, and non-verbal format while portraying a friendly tone, word choice, and body language.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
• Ability to stand, walk, and jog for short bursts during shift.
• Ability to frequently sit for long periods of time.
• Ability of sight to recognize traffic signs, read directions/maps, and maneuver a vehicle safely.
• Manual and finger dexterity as required to perform daily job duties.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to frequently bend, squat and/or reach.
• Occasionally works near or around mechanical moving parts.
• Frequently exposed to vibration.
• Frequently exposed to a high level of noise in the work environment.
• Frequently exposed to tobacco smoke.
• Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
• Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions, including variations in temperature and precipitation.
• Ability to drive in adverse weather conditions
• Sufficient visual acuity to write, recognize printed materials, computer screen, and notice non-verbal behavior.
• Speech and hearing ability to project voice to small and large audiences, carry on radio/telephone conversations, hear and grasp verbal communications and equipment prompts.
