Responsibilities- Provide sales and marketing support and coordination of programs and promotions for the Millwork business.
- Monitor and track product sales, gross profit, product mix, promotional events, growth, and call planning.
- Assist in developing and communicating strategic team goals that maximize profit in sales territory.
- Provide information systems support, maintain current product information, price list, and bill of materials in system.
- Serve as a liaison with vendors, sales representatives and customers ensuring timely and accurate data in systems.
- Assist inside sales team with customer sales calls and provide quotes.
- Maintain knowledge of competitor products.
- Analyze new business opportunities, implement, and coordinate merchandising, updating customers on new and existing products, promotions, and services.
- Provide training to customers, Boise Cascade staff, and vendors.
- Develops promotions and administers co-op.
- Develop, administer, and track training for millwork sales department.
- Responsible for all multi-family quotes and customer and builder program pricing.
- Manages home center and select window/door accounts.
- Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications: College Degree or equivalent work experience in related job function. Working conditions are an office environment with minimal physical exertion.
Preferred Qualifications: Typically more than ten (10) years of experience in related job function.
