This role is designed for a senior paid media professional who wants ownership beyond campaign execution. You will shape paid social strategy, manage media plans and budgets, and take responsibility for revenue and profitability across a portfolio of high-growth e-commerce accounts. Working in a high-autonomy, performance-driven environment, you will translate business objectives into measurable acquisition strategies and actionable plans. You will serve as a trusted strategic partner to clients while collaborating closely with media buying, creative, search, and lifecycle teams. The role also provides an opportunity to influence creative testing, improve commercial performance, and mentor developing talent. Success will require strong analytical thinking, commercial awareness, and the ability to turn complex advertising data into clear business decisions.
- Own paid media strategy, channel mix, media plans, budgets, and revenue performance across an assigned portfolio of high-growth accounts.
- Drive profitable client growth by achieving acquisition targets and optimizing contribution margins, blended MER, and overall account economics.
- Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for clients, leading presentations, communicating performance insights, and developing long-term relationships with business owners and senior stakeholders.
- Translate high-level brand and business objectives into clear, actionable briefs for media buyers and other execution teams.
- Conduct regular performance audits to evaluate campaign quality, identify opportunities, and ensure paid media activity remains aligned with strategic objectives.
- Develop and execute an always-on creative testing roadmap designed to improve performance and uncover scalable growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with paid search, creative, lifecycle, and other cross-functional teams to ensure paid social contributes effectively to the broader growth strategy.
- Analyze campaign and business performance data and transform complex platform insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Monitor account economics and performance against key indicators such as ROAS, MER, CAC, and contribution margin.
- Identify strategic risks and growth opportunities across accounts and proactively recommend adjustments to media strategy and investment.
- Mentor junior strategists and contribute to the development of internal paid media talent through coaching, knowledge sharing, and best-practice guidance.
- Support broader cross-channel planning and strategic initiatives where paid social expertise can contribute to business growth.
- 4+ years of hands-on paid social strategy experience, with significant experience scaling e-commerce businesses.
- Deep expertise in Meta Ads Manager across Facebook and Instagram, with working knowledge of at least one additional paid social platform such as TikTok, Pinterest, or LinkedIn.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce unit economics, including blended ROAS, MER, aMER, CAC, contribution margin, and profitability.
- Demonstrated ability to connect paid media performance to broader business and revenue outcomes rather than focusing solely on platform-level metrics.
- Experience working in an agency environment with multiple clients, competing priorities, and complex stakeholder relationships.
- Strong client-facing presence with excellent written and verbal English communication skills at a C1/C2 level.
- Ability to confidently present strategic recommendations, performance results, and business insights to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to transform complex advertising data into concise, commercially relevant narratives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, collaborate effectively across functions, and mentor junior team members.
- High level of autonomy, ownership, initiative, and accountability in a performance-oriented environment.
- Working knowledge of Google Ads and paid search strategy is a plus.
- Experience with B2B lead generation campaigns and pipeline-based measurement is advantageous.
- Familiarity with advanced incrementality testing or attribution modeling beyond standard last-click reporting is preferred.
- Active advertising platform certifications, such as Meta Blueprint, are a plus.
- Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
- Performance-oriented environment with significant autonomy and ownership.
- Opportunity to work with high-growth e-commerce businesses and influence measurable revenue outcomes.
- Fully remote work environment.
- Professional growth opportunities through exposure to advanced paid media strategy, cross-channel planning, and client leadership.
- Opportunities to mentor and develop other marketing professionals.
- Collaborative environment with cross-functional teams across media, creative, search, and lifecycle marketing.
- Access to a role focused on strategic impact rather than routine campaign execution.
