Job Title: Planning Assistant
Reports to: Production Planner
Department: Planning
FLSA: Non-exempt (eligible for overtime)
Location: Ramsey, MN

Primary focus is to assist the Production Planner and management team as well as supervisors in production and planning. Work with production personnel to help ensure orders are completed on time and support the Production Planning department.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Planning:
- Responsible to track combo orders
- Responsible to track transom orders
- Responsible to track hanging orders
- Assist planning department where needed
Production:
- Work with supervisors to resolve the above issues
- Track production output numbers daily
- Assist production supervisors where needed
MFT Team:
- Assist in Anderson documentation process
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and be able to quickly adapt to changes
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word)
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and grow into new opportunities

Education and Experience:
- Highschool diploma or GED required
- 2 years general office experience, preferably in a production environment
Physical Requirements:
- Could be prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Could also involve a combination of sitting, standing, and walking around the production facility for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
