Description:

The Spare Parts & Service Coordinator is responsible for engaging with customers in an upbeat and timely manner. The Spare Parts & Service Coordinator is responsible for quoting spare parts and field service trips to customers, along with processing customer Purchase Orders. The job is very dynamic and requires the person to multi-task in a fast environment, easily adapt to change, maintain a positive attitude and to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Answer service phone calls and respond accordingly or distribute to the appropriate person
  • Review incoming emails for service and parts and respond accordingly or distribute to the appropriate person
  • Quote service and spare parts
  • Quote retrofits or distribute requests for retrofits to the appropriate person
  • Enter sales orders for service and spare parts
  • Process circuit board quotes and repairs
  • Contact vendors for updated prices and deliveries on parts and components
  • Send order acknowledgments for service and spare parts orders to customers
  • Setup travel arrangements for service personnel, as necessary
  • Update service schedule
  • Assist service technicians in the field by supplying drawings, parts, etc.
  • Convert engineering drawings and part lists to .pdfs

Requirements:

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • 3+ years customer service experience
  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Solid computer skills
  • Knowledge of parts and drawings
  • Detail oriented
  • Knowledge of shipping
  • Willingness to learn and find solutions for customer

Experience in the following programs/processes is required

  • Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Blue Print Reading

Experience in the following programs/processes is not required, but a plus

  • Epicor
  • Solidworks
  • Autocad
