POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients following the completion of sales for exhibit space, sponsorships, and advertising. Working under the direct guidance and supervision of the Sales Director, the Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete post-sale lifecycle. This role is critical in ensuring the successful fulfillment of client contracts, managing complex logistics, and providing world-class customer service to ensure high retention and satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Exhibit Space Management:
- Coordinate post-sale logistics, including space draw coordination and proxy form assistance.
- Work with exhibitors on Exhibitor Service Manual orders.
- Process booth change requests (locations, "Exhibit As" names, etc).
- Manage directory listing updates and support exhibitor registration inquiries.
- Oversee booth space payment collections and financial inquiries, help with client invoice requests.
- Follow up on ESRA (Exhibitor Service Rental Agreement) advertising and sponsorship buys.
- On site assistance.
- Work with accounting and operations on duplicate submissions, section changes, size changes, payment changes.
2. Sponsorship & Advertising Execution:
- Create orders in CRM.
- Manage the end-to-end execution of sponsorship assets.
- Ad specification confirmation.
- Work with client on sponsorship location placement, -hanging banners, vehicles, carpet stickers, other signage.
- Collaborate with Sponsorship Manger on asset collection
- Collaborate with Sponsorship Manager for onsite placement accuracy.
- Collaborate with sponsorship Manager for inventory management
- Coordinate with the advertising team to manage production schedules and collect materials for both print and digital media.
- Support the Sales Director by identifying and flagging upsell or renewal opportunities based on client performance and experience.
- Ensure sponsorship and advertising invoices are collected and follow up post-execution with performance statistics and "at-risk" payment escalations.
3. Client Service & Account Health
- Manage inquiries regarding booth regulations, login information, and membership benefits.
- Maintain accurate company contact data and log all communications within the CRM.
- Investigate and resolve seniority point disputes and invoice discrepancies in collaboration with the Finance and Membership departments.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure a smooth renewal cycle.
Pay Range: $26 - $34 Hourly
Requirements:JOB QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a corporate environment; experience working with data is preferred.
- Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly strong Excel skills).
- Ability to navigate ESM (Exhibitor Service Manuals) and CRM platforms.
- Core Competencies:
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional accuracy in contract creation and signature collection.
- Collaborative: A team player who is responsive to guidance and takes direction well from leadership.
- Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to liaison between Sales, Finance, and Membership departments.
- Travel: Ability to travel to and attend industry events.
