S&S Plumbing Contractors is hiring an experienced Texas Journeyman Plumber for our commercial new construction team in the San Antonio area.

We’re looking for a plumber who knows the job — someone who can read plans, lay out work, handle commercial plumbing from underground through final, work alongside an apprentice, and still put the tools on when the job calls for it.

This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in their trade and wants to be part of a solid plumbing team.

• Commercial plumbing underground, rough-in, top-out and final

• Reading plans and laying out plumbing systems

• Installing water, waste, vent and gas piping

• Working independently and alongside an apprentice or two

• Coordinating your work with the superintendent and other trades

• Operating Bobcat skid steer and mini escavator equipment when needed

• Keeping your work safe, organized and moving forward

• Current Texas TSBPE Journeyman Plumber license

• Commercial new construction plumbing experience

• Valid driver's license

• Able to read plans and work independently

• Willing to work hands-on — this is not a position where you simply direct an apprentice

• Bobcat/equipment experience is a plus

• Dependable and able to work as part of a team

• Able to meet our drug-free workplace requirements

​Pay: $31.00–$36.00 per hour — compensation based on commercial plumbing experience and qualifications
