Summary:
As a valued member of the Devon Bank team, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will support marketing and communication initiatives that strengthen the Bank’s brand, community presence, and relationships with colleagues and customers. This hands-on role is ideal for a creative, organized, and digitally savvy individual who enjoys working directly within digital platforms.
The position focuses on day-to-day digital marketing execution, including social media, email marketing, website updates, and basic SEO. Working closely with the Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will help deliver campaigns, events, and digital communications that enhance brand awareness and community engagement.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Marketing
- Manage and grow the bank's social media presence across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Create engaging content including graphics, videos, stories, reels, and promotional campaigns.
- Monitor audience engagement and respond to comments and messages as appropriate.
- Track social media performance and recommend strategies to improve reach, engagement, and lead generation.
- Stay current on digital marketing trends and platform updates.
Email Marketing
- Create, schedule, and manage email marketing campaigns using Constant Contact and other marketing platforms.
- Develop newsletters, promotional emails, event invitations, and automated communications.
- Monitor campaign performance including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
- Assist with list management and audience segmentation.
Digital Marketing & Advertising
- Assist in planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns.
- Support paid advertising efforts across Meta, Google Ads, and other digital platforms.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations to improve results.
- Assist with lead generation initiatives and marketing funnel development.
- Maintain marketing analytics and reporting dashboards.
Website & SEO
- Update and maintain website content using WordPress.
- Create and update landing pages, event pages, blog posts, and promotional content.
- Assist with search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives, including keyword research, on-page optimization, metadata updates, and content improvements.
- Monitor website performance and user experience.
- Coordinate website updates with third-party vendors when necessary.
Events & Community Outreach
- Support the planning and promotion of financial education seminars, workshops, networking events, and community outreach initiatives.
- Create event registration pages, promotional materials, and event communications.
- Assist with event logistics, photography, and post-event marketing efforts.
- Attend community events and branch activities as needed to support marketing initiatives.
Marketing Promotional Items
- Track and maintain inventory of promotional materials and signage.
- Keep marketing storage areas organized and labeled.
- Deliver marketing materials to suburban branch locations (Glenview and Wheeling) as needed.
Content Creation & Design
- Design marketing materials including flyers, brochures, presentations, signage, and digital advertisements.
- Create and edit photos, videos, and graphics for marketing campaigns.
- Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
- Collaborate with internal departments to develop marketing content that supports business objectives.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Partner with Mortgage, Wealth Management, Treasury Management, Retail Banking, and Human Resources teams on marketing initiatives.
- Assist with special projects and campaigns as assigned.
- Provide marketing support for internal communications and organizational initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 2-5 years of marketing experience preferred.
- Experience managing social media accounts for a business or organization.
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact, Mailchimp, or similar systems.
- Experience using WordPress for website updates and content management.
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing analytics.
- Familiarity with digital advertising platforms such as Meta Ads and Google Ads.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
- Strong writing, proofreading, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines.
The ideal candidate is a proactive marketer who enjoys both creative and analytical work. They are comfortable creating content, managing campaigns, updating websites, analyzing performance metrics, and supporting events. They are eager to learn, willing to take ownership of projects, and capable of contributing ideas that help drive marketing results.
Candidates should be prepared to discuss marketing campaigns they have personally managed and the measurable results they achieved.
Travel
This position requires the ability to go to our branch locations (Glenview and Wheeling) on an occasional basis for events or training as required by management.
Compensation
$31.25 to $33.65/hr
