We provide lake and pond management services, wetland restoration, and stormwater solutions to private homeowners, lake associations, golf courses, governmental entities, and many more. The Stormwater Field Technician is responsible for cleanup services to unkept or overgrown stormwater areas that need to be corrected. General daily scope includes (but not limited to) the following: Mowing, weed eating, cutting trees, clearing outlets, litter removal, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain stormwater areas
- Operate boats, ATVs, and spray trucks in various outdoor environments
- Communicate effectively with clients and deliver excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate records of treatments and services performed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong work ethic with a passion for working outdoors
- Good math and science skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and carry a 40-lb. backpack sprayer throughout the day on uneven terrain
- Comfortable working around water bodies in variable weather conditions
- Must have an excellent driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screening (Drug-Free Workplace)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with aquatic vegetation control and the use of aquatic herbicides/algaecides
- Applicator license is highly preferred
