Job Description
Acumen is seeking a Senior Analyst / Associate to join its growing Finance function. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role will own and improve the core models, reporting, and analysis that turn fragmented financial and operating data into clear, decision-ready insight. This is a hands-on, high-ROI builder role: you’ll spend most of your time in the models and reporting that leadership relies on, with growing opportunity to take on broader analysis as the function matures.
What you will do:
• Build, maintain, and improve core finance models (budget, working capital, worker’s comp, pricing)
• Support Acumen’s monthly management reporting package — actuals vs. budget/forecast, cash, AR, and key operating metrics
• Support rolling forecast and budgeting processes, improving accuracy, cadence, and transparency
• Expand existing contribution-margin and profitability views by contract, state, and segment, explaining margin and cost drivers
• Support scenario and “what-if” analyses to support pricing, new work, and investment decisions
• Partner with Accounting and Operations to source and validate data and ensure clean handoffs
• Document models, assumptions, and methodology to create scalable, repeatable processes
Benefits:
Company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision plans for employees and their dependents, learning and development opportunities, wellness resources, paid time off, and paid federal holidays.
