This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Analyst Técnico financeiro — Sênior based in Brazil.

We are seeking a Senior Technical Financial Business Analyst to support strategic initiatives within the financial markets ecosystem.
This role combines strong functional expertise in treasury, derivatives, and financial systems with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
You will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring high-quality delivery of complex financial processes.
The position requires experience with financial products, valuation processes, and platforms supporting trading and accounting operations.
You will contribute to requirements definition, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of critical financial solutions.
Working in a collaborative and agile environment, you will help drive reliable and efficient technology outcomes for financial operations.

Accountabilities:
  • Define technical and functional processes related to financial operations, including treasury and accounting workflows.
  • Act as the main interface between business teams and technology teams, ensuring alignment between requirements and solutions.
  • Analyze business needs and translate them into detailed technical and functional specifications for development teams.
  • Support development teams by clarifying requirements and providing functional expertise throughout project delivery.
  • Review technical testing results and user acceptance testing (UAT) outcomes to ensure solution quality.
  • Create and maintain technical and functional project documentation.
  • Support corrective and evolutionary maintenance activities for financial systems.
  • Provide post-production support during stabilization periods, ensuring operational continuity.
  • Contribute to process improvements and technology initiatives related to financial products and platforms.
  • Collaborate with agile teams using structured methodologies to support efficient project execution.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical-functional business analysis roles within financial markets.
  • Proven experience working with Treasury and Financial Derivatives processes.
  • Advanced English proficiency and intermediate Spanish proficiency (B2 level).
  • Strong functional knowledge of financial products, including:
    • IRS (Interest Rate Swap).
    • CCS (Cross Currency Swap).
    • IFN.
    • FRA (Forward Rate Agreement).
    • C&F.
    • OTC (Over-the-Counter) products.
  • Experience with derivatives pricing and valuation processes.
  • Proven experience working with the Murex platform.
  • Experience communicating and collaborating with corporate and investment banking technology teams.
  • Solid PL/SQL knowledge, with the ability to define technical solutions and support development coordination.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence (Atlassian tools).
  • Experience with commodity pricing is a plus.
  • Knowledge of financial position management is a plus.
  • Experience with fixed income products (bonds) and equities is a plus.
  • Previous experience in financial system transformation or modernization projects is a plus.
