Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for playing a crucial role in acquiring top talent to move the mission of Codman Square Health Center (CSHC) forward and drive growth. CSHC has a constant need to quickly fill critical positions that serve our patients and community. The incumbent must be driven, energetic, creative and hungry for success. This person must meet the needs of the hiring managers across the health center by constantly developing talent pools and strategies to sustain the needs of the departments. The Talent Acquisition Partner must have a knack for innovation, be able to effectively communicate their ideas, and be capable of delivering results while effectively strategizing for the next move.
Primary Responsibilities:
Recruitment
1. Identify recruitment strategies for vacant positions in conjunction with HRBP;
2. Manage ATS tracking system, coordinate workflow of candidates for assigned open requisitions, and align position seats.
3. Develop talent pipeline for all CSHC positions.
4. Develop hiring profile with managers to ensure qualified candidates and fit for department;
5. Cultivate new connections and partnerships for CSHC with local community colleges, universities, talent firms, etc.
6. Assess, design, and implement overall recruiting strategy, defining best practices as a key part of overall human resources operations.
7. Hold hiring managers accountable for interviewing and making effective hiring decisions.
8. Create, provide, and present recruitment status reports to Senior Leadership and Department Heads.
9. Track reasons candidates do not join CSHC, present results quarterly, and make recommendations on how to address these barriers
10. Assist in the reviewing, modifying and creation of job descriptions in conjunction with the hiring manager, HRBP and Director of HR.
11. Develop and add screener questions to job postings;
12. Ensure a great candidate experience by consistently communicating the process and outcomes with candidates and following up with questions in a timely manner.
13. Review job posting request with department supervisors to include posting on relevant job boards and job specific
14. Represent CSHC at career fairs, networking functions, community gathering to build talent pool.
15. Assess all incoming candidate resumes and job applications, conduct interviews, and manage ongoing candidate communication to appropriately pre-screen candidates
16. Make recommendations, coordinate on-site interviews, and maintain continued communication with hiring managers.
17. Develop job postings for approved open positions
18. Post all approved vacancies on the Codman website, relevant job boards and job specific boards as suggested by the manager;
19. Source candidates through LinkedIn and Indeed;
20. Screen resumes that are submitted through ATS for relevant experience and job requirements; conduct initial telephone screening before forwarding top 5 applicants to manager.
21. Conduct references through SkillSurvey.
22. Serve as primary point of contact for Managers with questions or concerns regarding the recruitment process
23. Responsible for negotiating offers based on CSHC’s salary bands.
Other HR Functions
1. Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation on ATS with regards to recruitment activities
2. Assist with interview scheduling as needed, and in collaboration with HRBP
3. Assist with orientation schedule, welcome emails and presentations.
4. Work in a collegial and collaborative manner with co-workers, and other health center staff.
5. Oversees background screening process including criminal background, licensure and education checks, as well as immunization collection.
6. Maintain bonus tracker and submit sign-on/retention bonus PAFs through the ATS.
Other duties and/or locations as assigned.
Requirements:Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred;
- At least 2-3 years of healthcare recruitment experience;
- Customer service focused with the ability to handle challenging and confidential issues in a professional and timely manner;
- Established history developing innovative recruitment strategies, building healthy pipelines and talent pools, and streamlining processes and creating efficiencies to improve ongoing work;
- Understand CSHC values and understand how quickly filling crucial vacancies is critical to meeting the needs of our patients;
- Must be comfortable making cold calls and be able to turn them into meaningful connections;
- Be able to find the balance between hiring quickly and hiring the right person;
- Be a continuous learner, self-starter, and confident in their recruitment abilities;
- Be self-reflective, open to feedback, and able to speak transparently in order to achieve buy-in;
- Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook;
- Be able to manage confidential and sensitive information;
- Must be able to travel to multiple sites, career and college fairs, and community engagement hiring events;
- Familiarity with federal and state labor laws to ensure that HR practices and programs are compliant;
- Great interpersonal, presentation, and sales skills;
- Detail orientated with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, charismatic, and engaging;
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills;
- Able to take direction and accomplish tasks with minimum supervision, while maintaining accuracy;
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide variety of individuals from various socio-economic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds;
- Ability to maintain good humor and patience while dealing with difficult situations;
- Work well within a team environment and able to work cross-functionally with other departments to gather requirements and propose solutions;
- Ability to complete analytical and audit level review of data in Excel worksheets;
- Experience with Paylocity.
Physical Requirements:
§ Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods (50% of the time) ·
§ Must be able to lift 10-25 pounds and load onto shelves.
§ Visual acuity sufficient for frequent reading and computer use.
