This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Integration CPI Consultant based in India.
This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, and optimize enterprise integration solutions using SAP CPI and SAP NetWeaver PO technologies. You will contribute to connecting complex business systems, improving data flows, and enabling seamless digital processes across multiple platforms. The position combines strong integration development expertise with hands-on experience in SAP middleware, APIs, adapters, and cloud-based environments. You will work on end-to-end integration projects, from solution design and development to monitoring and troubleshooting. This role provides the opportunity to solve challenging integration scenarios while collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders. You will play a key role in delivering reliable, scalable, and secure integration architectures.
The Integration CPI Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, monitoring, and supporting SAP integration solutions while ensuring reliable connectivity between enterprise systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing integration solutions using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and SAP NetWeaver Process Orchestration (PO) 7.5.
- Creating and maintaining integration repository objects to support business process requirements.
- Developing custom integration components using Java, User Defined Functions (UDFs), Groovy scripts, and Java bean modules.
- Customizing adapters and troubleshooting complex integration scenarios within SAP middleware environments.
- Monitoring integration runtime environments, analyzing errors, and performing incident resolution through runtime workbench and adapter monitoring tools.
- Supporting error identification, reprocessing, and optimization of integration flows.
- Managing complete lifecycle implementation projects, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Developing and maintaining integrations involving master data objects such as DEBMAS, MATMAS, CHRMAS, CLSMAS, and CLFMAS.
- Designing and supporting integration scenarios using HTTP, REST, IDOC, File, SFTP, SOAP, XI, RFC, JDBC, MAIL, JMS, and Salesforce adapters.
- Implementing secure integration solutions involving encryption and decryption for REST/OData and SOAP-based scenarios.
- Supporting message processing scenarios including ORDERS, ORDRSP, ORDCHG, DELINS, DESADV, and INVOIC interfaces.
- Collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure successful integration delivery.
- Maintaining project documentation and tracking activities using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
The ideal candidate is an experienced SAP integration specialist with strong expertise in CPI, SAP PO, and enterprise application connectivity. Required qualifications and skills include:
- 5–7 years of experience in SAP integration development and middleware technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP NetWeaver PO 7.5 and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
- Proven experience designing and developing integration repository objects.
- Strong Java programming skills, including experience creating UDFs, Groovy scripts, and Java-based customizations.
- Experience debugging integration errors and troubleshooting adapter-related issues.
- Experience delivering at least two complete lifecycle SAP integration implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of master data integration scenarios, including SAP objects such as DEBMAS, MATMAS, CHRMAS, CLSMAS, and CLFMAS.
- Hands-on experience with HTTP, REST, IDOC, File, SFTP, SOAP, XI, RFC, JDBC, MAIL, JMS, and Salesforce adapters.
- Experience implementing REST/OData and SOAP integrations with encryption and decryption capabilities.
- Knowledge of ABAP concepts related to IDOCs, RFCs, proxies, and OData is a plus.
- Experience with cloud application monitoring or setup using platforms such as SCP or AWS is an advantage.
- Exposure to SAP UI5 or enterprise portal development is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex integration challenges.
