Home Health Aide (HHA) – Bilingual Spanish-Speaking | Leonia, NJ in Leonia, New Jersey at Affirmed Home Care

Affirmed Home Care is urgently seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) who speak both English and Spanish to provide personalized care for a couple in their home in Leonia, New Jersey.

• Location: Leonia, NJ, and surrounding areas within approximately 15 miles

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Hours: 10 hours per day, 50 hours per week

• Start Date: ASAP

• Language Requirement: Fluent in both English and Spanish

• Client Assignment: One-on-one home care for a couple

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping as needed

• Support clients with mobility and daily routines

• Communicate effectively with clients and their family members in English and Spanish

• Follow the individualized care plan and maintain clients’ comfort, safety, and dignity

• Report changes in clients’ conditions to the appropriate care team

• Active New Jersey HHA certification

• Ability to speak both English and Spanish fluently

• Previous home care or caregiving experience preferred

• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and professional

• Ability to work the scheduled hours, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Reliable transportation to and from the client’s home preferred

• Authorization to work in the United States

• Meaningful work providing personalized home care
