Job Description

Technical Customer Success Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Customer Success Manager based in Ireland.

Join a fast-growing, international team developing data products that help businesses build and scale innovative solutions. As a Technical Customer Success Manager, you will manage the entire customer journey for API and data product clients, from onboarding and integration to adoption, renewals, and expansion. You will act as a strategic partner, helping customers understand how to use technical solutions effectively and achieve measurable business outcomes. Working closely with Product, Sales, Support, Engineering, and Marketing, you will translate customer needs into actionable improvements and growth opportunities. This role combines technical curiosity, relationship management, and commercial ownership in a remote-first environment. You will have the autonomy to shape customer success practices and contribute directly to the growth of an important business area.

Accountabilities:

You will own a portfolio of API and data product customers, guiding them toward successful integrations, stronger product adoption, and long-term business growth. You will be accountable for customer outcomes, relationship development, revenue retention, and expansion while coordinating internal teams to resolve challenges and deliver value.

  • Manage a portfolio of customers using one or more APIs, with a focus on Net Revenue Retention (NRR), customer satisfaction, and account growth.

  • Develop customer success plans with clear objectives, priorities, milestones, and next steps.

  • Lead regular customer meetings and proactively maintain engagement to keep projects progressing.

  • Understand customers’ products, business models, and technical requirements, recommending suitable data, API endpoints, and integration approaches.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues, coordinate resolutions, and maintain ownership until customer challenges are addressed.

  • Identify customer risks early and develop plans to improve adoption, retention, and long-term success.

  • Identify opportunities for account expansion, manage the process from discovery through upgrade, and support commercial growth.

  • Own customer renewals and maintain accurate, organized account information.

  • Lead onboarding and sales-to-customer-success handovers, ensuring alignment on customer goals and expectations.

  • Build integration plans with clear milestones, responsibilities, and timelines to help customers reach their first value quickly.

  • Guide customers through technical decisions, remove implementation blockers, and ensure every interaction concludes with clear next steps.

  • Represent customer needs internally by sharing insights and opportunities with Product, Sales, Support, Engineering, and Marketing.

  • Collaborate with Product teams on customer discovery and testing, coordinate expansion opportunities with Sales, and help develop useful customer resources.

  • Use customer success and communication tools such as Vitally, Notion, Intercom, Stripe, FullStory, and Calendly to manage relationships and workflows.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines customer-facing experience with technical understanding, commercial awareness, and a strong sense of ownership. You should be comfortable discussing APIs, integrations, and data flows, translating complex concepts into clear explanations, and proactively guiding customers toward practical solutions.

  • At least 2 years of experience in Technical Customer Success, Account Management, Technical Account Management, or a similar customer-facing role.

  • Experience working with APIs or data products, or a background in technical roles, product management, or product ownership.

  • Ability to understand and discuss APIs, integrations, data flows, and technical implementation challenges; coding experience is not essential.

  • Strong customer leadership skills, including the ability to ask effective questions, identify underlying problems, and guide decision-making.

  • Demonstrated ownership and accountability, with the ability to simplify complex situations and drive issues through to resolution.

  • Clear, concise communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to different audiences.

  • Commercial mindset, with an ability to identify opportunities that help customers increase value and grow their businesses.

  • Proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment without a fully defined playbook.

  • Strong written and spoken English.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

  • Experience with creator data, influencer marketing, or related data products.

  • Experience managing customer renewals and account expansion.

  • Basic coding or data skills, such as reading code, writing small scripts, or working with SQL.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation: Approximately €60,000–€90,000 in annual on-target earnings (OTE), plus stock options.

  • Fully remote work: Work remotely from a suitable location, with flexibility to choose your working environment.

  • Flexible working hours: Manage your schedule autonomously.

  • Unlimited paid vacation: Take time off to rest and recharge.

  • Personal development support: Access support for relevant courses, books, and conferences.

  • Meaningful ownership: Make decisions, experiment with new approaches, and help shape the growth of the data products business.

  • International, remote-first culture: Collaborate with a distributed team across more than 20 countries.

  • Opportunity for impact: Contribute directly to customer outcomes, product development, and business growth.
