Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Quality Engineer to join our engineering team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will primarily design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of our software while also contributing to production code through bug fixes, feature enhancements, and other software development activities.
The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer who is passionate about writing high-quality code, automating validation, and collaborating across engineering disciplines to deliver reliable software.

Design, develop, test, and maintain production software using Python and related technologies.

Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites using the Robot Framework and Python to validate application functionality.

Investigate, debug, and resolve software defects, implementing bug fixes and enhancements across the codebase.

Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, and product stakeholders to define technical solutions and ensure software meets functional and quality requirements.

Participate in the design, implementation, code review, and testing of new features, ensuring maintainable, scalable, and well-tested software.

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and engineering tooling to support continuous integration, automated testing, and software delivery.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test strategies, design documentation, and engineering best practices.

Perform integration, regression, and system-level testing to validate software quality prior to release.

Bachelor's degree minimum.

Minimum 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred

Strong programming experience in Python.

Experience developing automated tests using Robot Framework or comparable automation frameworks.

Experience debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving software defects in complex systems.

Experience working within Agile software development environments.

Experience developing cloud-native applications using AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.

Experience designing automated testing frameworks and improving software quality through automation.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar build and deployment systems.

Experience with Git, Linux, PostgreSQL, Redis, InfluxDB, and Elasticsearch.

Understanding of distributed systems, containerized applications, and modern software deployment practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate technical issues.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams.

Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning, improving engineering processes, and delivering high-quality software.
Compensation & Benefits:
The pay range for this role is $132,000 – $165,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate’s skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role.
