Account Executive - Sales

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Executive - Sales based in India.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional to join a fast-growing organization at a pivotal stage of expansion. Accountabilities:
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, social selling, and networking initiatives.
  • Own the complete sales cycle, from identifying target accounts and engaging key decision-makers to conducting discovery sessions, delivering presentations, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
  • Execute and continuously improve outbound sales strategies, messaging frameworks, and prospecting playbooks to maximize market penetration and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to align outbound and inbound efforts, ensuring coordinated engagement with high-potential target accounts.
  • Develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including HR, People, and Learning & Development leaders across mid-market and enterprise organizations.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to generate new business and strengthen market presence.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed activity metrics, pipeline targets, and quarterly revenue objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within CRM platforms while providing regular pipeline reporting and forecasting.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle B2B sales experience with a strong emphasis on self-generated pipeline and outbound prospecting.
  • Proven success in cold outreach strategies, including phone, email, and LinkedIn engagement, with a demonstrated track record of acquiring new customers.
  • Experience selling solutions to HR, People, Talent, Learning & Development, or similar executive stakeholders.
  • Previous experience working in startup or early-stage environments, preferably within organizations undergoing rapid growth and transformation.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve sales targets, quotas, and key performance metrics.
  • Strong business development mindset with the ability to operate independently, identify opportunities, and solve problems proactively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or equivalent tools for pipeline management and reporting.
  • Ability to thrive in remote-first and highly autonomous work environments, including collaboration across global teams and time zones.
  • Prior experience as an early sales hire or within leadership development, coaching, performance management, or learning technology sectors is considered highly advantageous.
