- Create, review, and refine Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring alignment between technical, contractual, and programmatic requirements.
- Conduct critical path analyses and identify schedule risks, constraints, and opportunities.
- Partner closely with engineering, test, and research team to reduce schedule duration, improve execution efficiency, and identify schedule recovery opportunities.
- Develop alternative execution approaches and contingency plans to maintain commitments within approved technical scope, budget, and schedule constraints.
- Facilitate program planning activities, including work breakdown structures, milestone development, resource planning, and risk management.
- Lead action item tracking and ensure timely closure of program issues, risks, and decisions.
- Drive accountability throughout the organization by establishing clear ownership, priorities, and follow-through.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in program planning, project management, technical program management, or related roles.
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
- Experience writing and reviewing Statements of Work (SOWs) and technical program documentation.
- Strong understanding of critical path methodology, schedule risk analysis, and program execution best practices.
- Proven ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience supporting aerospace, defense, government, R&D, or highly technical engineering programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Highly proactive and action oriented.
- Strong leadership presence without direct authority.
- Able to influence and motivate technical teams toward common objectives.
- Comfortable working through ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities.
- Detail-oriented while maintaining focus on overall program objectives.
- Relentless in driving actions to closure and removing execution barriers.
