Lead Technologist Diagnostic Imaging in Schenectady , New York at Ellis Medicine

Acts as the clinical “expert” for modality at all locations where exams are performed. Acts as a liaison between front line staff and management for workflow and safety concerns. Oversees the creation and maintenance of exam protocols and completion of ACR accreditation processes. Assists Management with day to day operations to ensure the department runs smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities include patient safety, quality, maintaining regulatory requirements and department workflow. Performs all functions of the modality within the scope of licensing requirements. Other administrative functions as assigned.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited allied healthcare program, with appropriate degree and certification for that modality.
Must maintain license and certifications as required by NYS DOH and specific professional society. Board certified with at least 5 years experience in an acute care environment.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skill.
Ability to work in a team environment and matrix environment.

Salary Range: $ 36.07-54.10 /hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
