A+ PRODUCTION FLEX
Position Summary
The A+ Team Member Program is designed to develop team members who can support multiple production areas across MV Assembly, SV Assembly, Fabrication, and Inventory Control based on changing customer demand and business needs.
Through structured training and certification, A+ Team Members gain proficiency in multiple assembly and manufacturing processes, allowing them to move between value streams and provide support where needed most.
Rather than being limited to a single production area, A+ Team Members serve as a flexible workforce that helps maintain production flow, supports staffing needs, and strengthens operational performance. This role offers team members an opportunity to expand their skills, increase their contributions to the organization, and pursue additional growth and earning opportunities.
Essential Responsibilities
- Become trained and certified in multiple positions within a Value Stream.
- Regularly flex between areas to support production requirements and business needs.
- Perform assembly, fabrication, material handling, and support functions while maintaining productivity and quality expectations.
- Maintain a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Quickly adapt to new assignments, products, and production schedules.
- Support production continuity during vacations, absences, staffing shortages, and fluctuations in customer demand.
- Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to work in various manufacturing environments.
- Assist with training, coaching, and sharing best practices with fellow team members when appropriate.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Maintain excellent attendance, safety, quality, and performance standards.
