Job Description
We are seeking a Business Transformation Consultant who brings a strong blend of business analysis and delivery execution and enjoys turning complex, undefined problems into clear, actionable solutions.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who is comfortable both analyzing the problem and helping drive the solution forward. You will work across business, operations, and technology initiatives, partnering with clients and the people closest to the work to define needs, design practical solutions, and support implementation through adoption.
Our People-First approach means designing solutions with the people affected by the change. You will help clients understand and address the human side of change by considering how decisions affect employees, customers, roles, ways of working, and the overall experience of change.
This is not a purely strategic or executive-level role. It is best suited for someone who thrives in the work itself, can own pieces of delivery, and is confident navigating ambiguity while keeping projects moving.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and facilitate discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and working sessions to define business needs and priorities
- Use human-centered methods, including empathy interviews, observation, journey mapping, and collaborative design, to understand the experiences and needs of the people affected by change
- Analyze current-state processes and workflows, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
- Design future-state processes and practical solutions that align people, process, and technology
- Engage stakeholders and end users throughout discovery, solution design, testing, implementation, and adoption
- Facilitate inclusive working sessions that bring forward different perspectives and give the people closest to the work a meaningful voice in shaping solutions
- Translate business needs and stakeholder insights into clear requirements, user stories, recommendations, and actionable plans
- Assess the human impacts of proposed changes, including changes to roles, responsibilities, workflows, skills, workload, and employee or customer experience
- Drive execution of workstreams or project components, including tracking progress, identifying risks, and ensuring follow-through
- Partner with project managers and senior consultants while also taking ownership of deliverables and timelines within your scope
- Support and contribute to implementation efforts, ensuring alignment among business needs, system capabilities, operational requirements, and user adoption
- Contribute to change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption support
- Bring structure to ambiguous situations and help clients move from concept to execution
- Gather feedback and help refine solutions so they are practical, usable, and sustainable
What You Bring
- Strong ability to structure problems, analyze information, and translate insights into clear, practical solutions
- Experience balancing business analysis and delivery execution, not just creating documentation
- Comfort taking ownership, staying organized, and keeping work moving forward
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage clients and present ideas clearly
- Ability to build trusting relationships and work effectively across stakeholders, including business teams, technical teams, leaders, and end users
- Genuine curiosity about people’s experiences and the ability to listen before moving to a solution
- Ability to consider both business outcomes and the human experience of change
- An inclusive approach that values diverse perspectives and encourages meaningful stakeholder participation
- A practical, solutions-oriented mindset with attention to both detail and outcomes
- The judgment to balance desirability and usability with operational, technical, and financial realities
Preferred Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, operations, consulting, or project-based roles
- Experience in roles that required both requirements definition and coordination of execution
- Familiarity with project delivery practices, including work planning, tracking, and managing risks and dependencies
- Experience supporting or contributing to system implementations or operational transformations
- Knowledge of human-centered design, design thinking, employee experience, customer experience, or similar approaches
- Experience conducting stakeholder or empathy interviews, developing journey maps, facilitating collaborative design sessions, or gathering end-user feedback
- Exposure to process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar approaches
- Experience with organizational change management; familiarity with Prosci or similar frameworks is preferred
- Consulting and/or client-facing experience strongly preferred
- Public-sector experience is a plus
